Assignment for week: 

8.4; 3-16

9.1; 19-28, 41-44, 51, 53

9.2; 1-19 odd, 25-30

9.3; 17-39 odd, 45, 46

9.4; 1-27 odd, 33, 34, 41, 43

Please start thinking about taking the final exam.  Although the final isn't for a couple of more weeks, it is VERY important to make an appointment with a learning center soon since the time slots fill up quickly.  If you can't get in because they are all "booked up", you will not be able to take the final exam...OUCH!!

On Nov 29 you will be able to access the quiz over chapter 8.  It will be available until 9:00 pm on Dec 2.  Here's how to access the quiz (and all other quizzes given at the end of each chapter):

1) log onto your Blackboard Account

2) click on "tests and quizzes" on the left side tool bar

3) click on the quiz you are taking (quiz #7)

4) GO!!

You have one opportunity to take each quiz.  Please make sure you follow the instructions in their entirety. 

Finally, if you do not take the quiz during the dates above, you will receive a "0" for the quiz unless you have made PRIOR arrangements with me.

Extra credit is available to you for watching the weekly video by "clicking here".  Each week, I spend several minutes going over some important things for the week.  To receive the extra credit, you must watch the video no later than Tuesday nights at midnight.  Then email me that you watched the video.
